Foundation employees conducting business internationally must comply with all relevant laws and regulations of the United States and the foreign country or countries in question. Some things to be mindful of:

Don't make or offer unlawful payments or bribes.
Comply with import and export controls.
Obey U.S. economic boycott laws and regulations.
Contact the Office of the General Counsel whenever you have a question about U.S. or foreign laws or regulations, and if you ever perceive a conflict between U.S. and foreign law.
