HJF Seeks CFO and CIO

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is recruiting two key executive positions: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO). These executives will build on the success of HJF, a world-class military health research and education institution.

As a key business partner to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will ensure the integrity of the organization’s financial and budgetary controls and reporting systems. The CFO will ensure adequate financial flexibility to execute overall fiscal operating and strategic plans in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, FAR and other regulatory and advisory organizations. The CFO informs executive decision-making across the organization and oversees the functions of controllership, financial reporting, treasury, taxation, financial planning and analysis functions. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional company leaders, demonstrated leadership in achieving results and a proven ability to operate effectively.

The CIO, an executive who can manage information technology and operations while contributing to the organization’s overall development and direction, is responsible for strategy, execution and management of technical investments and operations. The CIO will successfully deliver IT services and operations that enable the organization to achieve its goals and objectives in an increasingly dynamic and changing business landscape. The position requires demonstrated leadership in achieving results under challenging circumstances and the ability to create innovative methods for HJF to succeed.
