Employees are the heart and soul of the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF). Their contributions to scientific research affect the U.S. military medical community and public health around the world.

Our unique and diverse workforce of more than 1,800 employees is engaged in a broad range of scientific, research and administrative support activities and plays an active role in sustaining more than 1,000 research programs.

Commitment to the future of military medicine is evident in HJF’s extensive efforts to further military medical education. The Foundation solicits and administers funds from private donors that are used to support graduate and continuing medical education.

The Foundation’s education funds support clinical, academic and operational facilities throughout the military medical community by providing funding for speakers, seminars and conferences. The Foundation manages more than 850 education and endowment accounts.

Each year HJF is involved in more than 80 continuing medical education events, including conferences, seminars, guest speakers and monthly lecture series. The Foundation also offers full event-planning services, including contracting, event promotion and conference management.
