Guest Scientist Program

Guest scientists of HJF may serve as principal investigators (PIs) for applications/proposals/awards for extramural funding under the auspices of the Foundation, and have access to its wide array of services.

All researchers who are billeted faculty at the Uniformed Services University (USU), including investigators at the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI), are guest scientists of the Foundation by virtue of their appointments at those institutions.

HJF employees need not become guest scientists. Any other individual interested in serving as a PI for an application/proposal/award must become a guest scientist of the Foundation. For more information on this program, please contact our Office of Sponsored Programs.
