Graphics & Communications
HJF offers both graphics and communications support to our customers. These departments work collaboratively to offer an extensive range of services, and can assist you with everything from planning to production.
Graphics and communications services are generally charged directly to individual research projects.
To initiate a communications or graphics request (other than business cards) please fill out and submit a General Graphics and Communications Work Order Request form .
Communications and Marketing Services
HJF's Communications Department can help promote HJF-administered research and education programs. Our experienced staff can assist with all aspects of developing communications pieces including:
- Brochures and pamphlets
- Press releases
- Advertisements
- Informational mailings
- Conference booths and materials
- Presentations
- Websites
The Director of the Communications Department is the official point of contact for press inquiries to the Foundation. If the press contacts you, please call the Communications Department for guidance and assistance in dealing with the media. Additionally, the staff is available to help you promote research results and announce education/training events including writing press releases. Keep in mind that most DoD-sponsored programs must be promoted in collaboration with the appropriate funding agency and research facility or hosting institution. Our staff can help advise you on the appropriate channels of communication.
Graphics Production Services
Our Graphics Department has extensive in-house graphic design and publishing capabilities.Utilizing industry-standard equipment and software, our trained staff can produce a wide variety of materials in a cost-effective and efficient manner. These include:
- Business cards
- Annual reports
- Magazines
- Teaching materials
- Signs
- Posters (scientific and informational)
- Display exhibits
- Logos
- Booklets and conference materials
- Camera-ready art
- Presentations (print and electronic)
Our Communications and Graphics Departments also have established relationships with several local printers and other production service vendors, allowing us to offer a comprehensive array of creative products.
