HJF a Top National Research Organization
HJF ranks among the top 5% of all organizations receiving funds from NIH. Most of this research is conducted at USU. Further, according to DoD figures published in 2004 in The Chronicle of Higher Education, HJF ranks third among the 37 top nonprofit institutions receiving contracts and grants over $25 million in FY03 awards for basic and applied research. (These figures cover prime contracts, grants and agreements for research, development, testing and evaluation for military projects.)
A June 2004 report by the National Science Foundation ranked HJF sixth among the top 10 independent nonprofit institutions receiving FY02 "federal research and development and R&D plant obligations" for science and engineering.
Over the years, we have established relationships with hundreds of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and all major military medical research institutes and treatment facilities around the country. This enables us to effectively link research and education needs with funding sources.
Research sponsors can contact our Office of Sponsored Programs to discuss current research programs and potential collaborations.
