USU-HJF Military Medicine Symposium:
Advancing Public-Private Partnerships

The Center for Public-Private Partnerships at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, along with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, will present a symposium highlighting important advances in military medicine. The event will bring together a broad spectrum of participants, including representatives of the Military Health System and military leadership, federal agencies, private research institutions, philanthropists and charitable foundations, representatives of industry, and policymakers.
Panels will highlight breakthroughs in research and clinical care, including:
- The state-of-the-science in regenerative medicine technologies and potential applications for wounded warriors
- The latest research on suicide prevention and traumatic stress among military veterans
- Community outreach to address psychological health challenges faced by servicemembers and their families
The event will foster collaboration and expand public-private partnerships to advance military medical research. The program will include opportunities for discussion and networking among participants.
