HJF Names Catherine Clark as Vice President for Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Secretary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. (HJF) has named Catherine M. Clark, J.D., as Vice President for Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Secretary. She will lead HJF’s legal and technology transfer teams in support of HJF’s mission. Ms. Clark will advise the executive team and the Council of Directors on legal matters affecting HJF. She will report to President and CEO Joseph Caravalho, Jr., M.D.

“I am pleased to have Cathy leading our legal and technology transfer functions as she has been a vital member of HJF’s Legal Department since 2015. In her new role, Cathy will be integral to HJF’s future partnerships across the board to advance military medicine,” Caravalho said.

Before joining HJF as Assistant General Counsel in 2015, Ms. Clark served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Vencore, Inc. (formerly QinetiQ North America, Inc.), and held prior positions with other government contracting organizations and in law firm practice.

Ms. Clark received her B.A., cum laude, from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, and her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, where she served on the Editorial Board of the Law Review.
