Through the generous support of our sponsors, including Chairman Sponsor, Humana Military, this distinctive celebration of exceptional honorees will be held on May 7, 2026, at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., bringing together top military leaders, medical researchers, practitioners, and grateful citizens to salute those who, through their selfless dedication to military medicine, have touched the lives of the nation's warfighters, veterans, their families, and civilians alike.

"We are overjoyed to be able to express to these devoted individuals how grateful and proud we are to call them Heroes of Military Medicine," said Joseph Caravalho, Jr., M.D., HJF President and CEO. "Their contributions extend far beyond their patients directly; they’ve created a ripple effect that touches countless lives in profound and often unseen ways. The Heroes of Military Medicine Awards is but a small tribute to reflect just how valuable they are to the communities they serve."

Recipients of the Heroes of Military Medicine Awards will be recognized by a notable roster of Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and U.S. Public Health Service leaders. HJF is especially honored to have Ms. Jennifer Griffin, the Chief National Security Correspondent for FOX News Channel, serve as the award emcee for the 14th consecutive year.
