HJF Names Jessica Bejarano as Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer
The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. (HJF) has named Jessica Bejarano as Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. She will be a member of the organization’s Executive Team and report to President and CEO Joseph Caravalho, Jr., M.D.
“For HJF to become and remain the organization of choice for our partners in military medicine, we must have a reputation of being above reproach in all that we do,” Caravalho said. “Maintaining an effective compliance and ethics program is an important part of maintaining that trust, and I am pleased to have Jessica leading these efforts.”
Prior to joining HJF, Bejarano served as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at PAE where she was responsible for the ethics and compliance program, the Code of Conduct, ethics and compliance training, and leading investigations as needed. She also chaired the Compliance Council and Privacy and Data Protection Council. Bejarano also served as an Empowered Official for the International Trade Compliance Office and managed government contracts for Lockheed Martin.
Bejarano received her bachelor's degree in Government and International Relations from Cornell University, and her Juris Doctorate and General Counsel Certificate from Syracuse University College of Law.
