Is my donation tax-deductible?
The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. (HJF) is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations to HJF are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
Is my donation secure?
Your information is secure with HJF. According to its privacy policy (https://www.hjf.org/resources/privacy-notice), HJF does not share donor information with other organizations. In addition, all online donations are secure and follow HJF cybersecurity and compliance standards, including encryption.
Can I make a pledge in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one?
Yes, you are welcome to honor a friend or loved one. To celebrate honorary donations, we regularly publish a list of these special pledges made to HJF. When you visit our donation form (https://www.hjf.org/donate), click the “I'd like to make this contribution in honor or in memory of someone” box and the form will prompt you for the necessary information to honor your friend or loved one.
How much of my donation will go toward military medical research?
For the fiscal year, 2021 99.3% of HJF expenses went to activities that directly support our mission.
What is the minimum donation accepted?
We are grateful to accept any amount you would like to contribute to support our mission.
How do I make a monthly pledge?
You can easily set up a monthly donation on our website at www.hjf.org/donate
How do I donate by phone or mail?
HJF does not accept donations via phone to protect the security of your credit card and personal information. HJF does accept donations via mail. Please send your donation by physical check to the following:

What ratings does HJF earn from charity watch dog groups?
HJF has a Platinum rating with GuideStar, the highest rating possible.
HJF has earned a rating of 100 with Charity Navigator’s encompass system, also in the highest category. Any charity with a score above 75 earns the “Give with Confidence” guidance.
