HJF's Dr. Fabio Leonessa and Mr. Josh Whitty in support of USU's CONQUER Program

Mounting evidence suggests a relation between repeated exposure to low level blast overpressure (BOP), such as that experienced during training with some weapons, and short-to-long-term brain health outcomes. CONQUER is a pilot BOP program that monitors, quantifies, and reports to military units the training-related blast overpressure exposure of their service members. Moreover, CONQUER has been assessing the BOP environment around weapons of major concern, resulting in BOP contour maps that can be used as reference to reduce unnecessary exposures in training environment.

Visit HJF's booth #512 to to discuss lessons learned through CONQUER and how they can be applied to improve the safety of military personnel.
