2025 Heroes of Military Medicine San Antonio Award Honorees:

The 2025 Heroes of Military Medicine San Antonio Awards took place on October 22, 2025, at the Witte Museum, San Antonio's premier nature, science, and culture museum, located at 3801 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209.
Mr. Ernie Zuniga, a respected news anchor and passionate advocate for numerous nonprofit organizations in the San Antonio community, honored HJF as the 2025 Hero of Military Medicine San Antonio Awards emcee. Army Master Sargent (Retired) Chris Hiatt concluded the Heroes of Military Medicine Awards by paying tribute to his extraordinary care team at the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research Burn Center, located within the Brooke Army Medical Center, who saved his life and supported him and his wife throughout the trajectory of his care.
