HJF advances military medicine to make the world a healthier place for people of all races and backgrounds. Currently, many people and communities of color are struggling socially, medically and emotionally. HJF stands with those marching to improve their communities, to drive change, to end racism and discrimination. Racism is a disease that has infected American society for hundreds of years. HJF is committed to fighting this disease and its impacts.

As a nonprofit organization, HJF’s renewed focus centers around the following actions:

  • We commit to listen and learn from those whose voices have too often been silenced.

  • We recognize bias exists, conscious and unconscious, and work to raise our own awareness and combat that bias.

  • We strive to hire and promote based on performance while celebrating diversity throughout our workforce worldwide.
