I am a research physician with the HJF-ACESO group and a practicing infectious diseases physician.
My experience prior to joining HJF-ACESO includes research on Chagas disease, an under-recognized cause of cardiac disease amongst individuals from endemic regions for this parasite, and investigating causes of out-of-hospital respiratory deaths among infants and children in Lusaka, Zambia. Working with the HJF-ACESO group, I bring a clinical perspective to multi-disciplinary approaches to improving sepsis in austere environments.
