Cassie J. Rowe, PhD
I collaborate with interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams dedicated to bridging the gap between basic science and product development to maximize clinical outcomes for patients requiring complex medical decision-making. Operating within a GCLP, CAP-Biorepository, and CLIP accredited laboratory, I utilize multi-omics approaches—spanning genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics—to drive the development of biomarker-based Clinical Decision Support Tools (CDSTs). My research capabilities integrate these high-throughput biological datasets with advanced analytics and machine learning to create precision medicine diagnostics. Specifically, I am focused on identifying biomarkers and developing novel assays that elucidate the translational mechanisms of combat-related injuries, with a particular interest in the neurobiological and inflammatory pathways underlying polytrauma, traumatic brain injury, and wound progression.
