Su Yeon Lee-Tauler, PhD
My research capabilities are centered on mixed-methods public health research, primarily focusing on suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention, with a specific emphasis on military community and vulnerable populations. My interests involve culturally adapting and implementing evidence-based strategies, such as the Chaplains-CARE program, for high risk groups like military service members and Korean American faith communities. This work leverages my expertise in qualitative methods, quantitative analysis, and implementation science to improve mental health access and service delivery. I am particularly interested in understanding sociocultural barriers to care, which I've explored through epidemiological studies of mental disorders across diverse cultural groups.
