Each year, HJF honors outstanding contributions to military medicine at our Heroes of Military Medicine (HMM) Awards. On May 11, 2023, HJF honored Benjamin Hall, a State Department correspondent for FOX News Channel, with the Hero of Military Medicine Ambassador Award. Mr. Hall, as a beneficiary of military medicine, embodies the message that advances in military medicine benefit all. He credits military medicine for saving his life after he was severely injured in an attack while reporting from the frontlines in Ukraine.
